I met Jeremy at my first ToP Gathering in 2019, the beginning of my facilitation journey. During the pandemic, we spent a lot of time via zoom creating curriculum for virtual participatory experiences. Jeremy is a teacher by nature, patient, and detail oriented. Two qualities that I am working to strengthen. So, it wasn’t surprising that he quickly became one of my mentors and coaches and trust me, I've defiantly given him a run for his money.
One of the many things I admire about Jeremy is his deep expertise in strategic planning and higher education. Every session with him is a learning experience; I always walk away with something new to think about.
Jeremy is my complete opposite. If he says red, I say blue, which are our favorite colors by the way. We come together around our love for Mexican food and Seinfeld. Together we make a strong and balanced team. That balance is evident in the experiences we co-create for our participants and clients which is both meaningful and fun.

I first met Angie during our work with a community coalitions. From the start, I was in awe of her ability to lead dynamic meetings, guiding a group with such diverse perspectives toward a shared consensus. It seemed like magic at first—until I realized there was a method behind it all: ToP Facilitation Methods. Angie was the one who introduced me to this approach and ignited my journey into facilitation.
Angie is an idea generator and a master connector, constantly looking ahead for what's next. She has this incredible ability to help me see beyond my own limitations, inspiring me to unleash new and innovative ideas. Together, we've designed specialized curriculums to provide leadership skills to coalition leaders
across the country.
We often find ourselves unwinding over sushi and happy hour small plates, brainstorming our next project or simply enjoying each other’s company.
Angie’s company, ASA Facilitation, brings her expertise in coaching and training to non-profit leaders to connect, spark, & ignite.
I first met Dave on LinkedIn, through a mutual connection in the prevention field. From our very first conversation, it felt like we had known each other for years.
Dave is a natural entrepreneur and connector. He has an incredible ability to spot a need and create a service that empowers people to find their own solutions. I’ve always admired his "can-do" attitude, and he’s inspired me to adopt his “we are better together” philosophy in my own work.
Over the years, Dave and I have collaborated on several facilitations and trainings for non-profits and coalitions across the country. One of our most memorable projects was the Youth Leadership Cohort, where Dave taught the students how to start and record a podcast—giving them a platform to elevate and advocate for the youth voice.
Dave’s true passions lie in prevention and veteran services, and it’s evident in everything he does.
Shawn Sorrell
I met Shawn at the 2019 ToP Gathering in New Orleans and we quicky discovered that we share many personality traits. What really stood out to me was his ability to connect with people on a personal level, instantly putting them at ease. It is one of the reasons Shawn has become my sounding board - always there with honest feedback, unwavering support, and encouragement.
Shawn's experience in both government and non-profit sectors, where he has led organizational change strategies centered on diversity, equity, and inclusion, has profoundly shaped my understanding of what it truly means to belong.
Shawn and I have enjoyed working together in the training room starting with the ToP Facilitation Methods and more recently, the Youth Leadership Cohort.
Although he is a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan, he has a kind and giving soul that makes friends in every room he walks into.
I was introduced to Stephanie after I decided to pursue my ToP Certification journey. I walked up to her at a training and said, “I’m Karie and I’m going to work for you”. She took me to dinner and became my certification coach and mentor trainer.
What initially drew me to Stephanie was her unwavering commitment to quality and participant experience. She has a way of pushing me to bring that same level of excellence into every session I lead. Her influence has been a guiding force in shaping me into the trainer I am today.
There’s an undeniable energy when we’re together, and our favorite way to unwind is a good old-fashioned road trip, complete with plenty of carpool karaoke..
